Perkasie’s Gateway Mural Project transformed a long-vacant, blighted parcel into an attractive, colorful, WELCOME, greeting visitors to Perkasie’s downtown commercial district. The project beautified this important arrival gateway by creating a unique, custom designed MURAL on a long-abandoned SEPTA freight car, and by refreshing the appearance of the historic SEPTA Freight House on the same parcel.

This project was completed by Promiseland Murals in the Fall of 2025. You can visit and snap photos anytime. It is located at the corner of N. 8th Street and W. Market Street in Downtown Perkasie. Local municipal parking is nearby.

The project was completed with the help of a Bucks County Tourism Grant provided by Visit Bucks County and in conjunction with Perkasie Borough & Septa.​​
